The "Lightening" Nickname Derivative
My mother accompanied
us to the game against O'Connor at the Alamodome where one of my nephews rushed for 368 yards and scored 4 touchdowns to lead the Rattlers to victory.
After watching his
electrifying runs for 3 quarters Mother commented that Marcus runs like greased lightening. Let me add
that Reagan's offensive line must be the thunder because Thunder & Lightening are often followed by Rain
and there is no doubt that there were many tears on O'Connor's side after they thought they had shut Reagan down, scoreless
in the first quarter and trailing at the half.
Reagan's
team showed they had HEART and in retrospect I feel proud to have witnessed that my nephew was an integral part
of all of it.
